Treating fat, oil, grease, sludge, odor, and hydrogen sulfide (H2S).

    Category:

BioWorx LS is a concentrated liquid product used in a variety of wastewater treatment systems to alleviate challenges associated with fat, oil, and grease (FOG), sludge, odor, and hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).

This liquid product is formulated with a blend of Bacillus strains scientifically selected for their ability to digest a broad range of organic material. The formulation is enhanced with the addition of a proprietary blend of micronutrients and biostimulants to heighten performance of the microorganisms.

Common Challenges and BioWorx LS Solutions

    Fog Accumulation

Challenge: FOG builds up in collection and treatment systems causing backups, septicity, equipment failure, foaming, and floating solids. This can require reactive and costly physical removal from the system.

Solution: BioWorx LS promotes digestion of FOG, removing it from the system as CO₂ and H20. This digestion pro-actively reduces accumulation in the system which lowers labor and emergency removal cost.

    Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S)

Challenge: The production of hydrogen sulfide causes complaints, corrodes concrete, equipment, electrical components, and possess serious safety risk for operators and those around the facility. Conventional treatment is non-preventative, expensive, and capital intensive.

Solution: BioWorx LS prevents the production of H₂S by out-competing the sulfur-reducing-bacteria (SRB) for sulfur compounds and other food sources. Thus, you are pro-actively eliminating complaints, corrosion, and safety risk.

    Odor Control

Challenge: Neighbor relations, lawsuits, and potential fines are all common challenges faced when dealing with odors. Common odor control equipment and chemistry are costly and require both specialized equipment and labor to manage.

Solution: BioWorx LS prevents the formation of biological acids and other odorous compounds, reducing the potential for complaints and lawsuits without costly chemicals or equipment.

    Pumping, Jetting and Removal Cost

Challenge: FOG builds up in collection and treatment systems, requiring both reactive and costly physical removal from the system.

Solution: Biological treatment improves solids, sludge, and FOG digestion, preventing them from becoming problem causing build-ups.
